The III BGL Symposium will take place within the Reggia di Caserta complex, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Commissioned by Carlo VII of Bourbone in the 18th century, the Royal Palace and its gardens are among the finest examples of Baroque architecture and landscape design in Europe.
The palace gardens extend over more than three kilometres and include formal Italian-style parterres, an English landscape garden (the first in southern Italy), a historic camellia collection, and a series of monumental fountains.
